No lectures. For three days you work as a Forward Deployed Engineer in a lifelike simulated company: uncover the boss's real need, find the evidence, build a demo, then sell it to the boss.
How the three days run
Day 1

Get the truth out
Learn to interview, watch a mentor run a full client interview live, then drill in pairs, taking turns as consultant and boss. At night you enter the main storyline, The Great Cancellation: a gym chain where everyone has an agenda.
Day 2
Level 2ClearedRead & translate: get past the evidence
Match what's said to what's true
Use AI to read the company's business systems and check last night's claims against the data; where they don't match is the real need. Then build a clickable demo in three hours and sell it to the “boss” that evening.
Day 3
Level 3ClearedProve & pitch: get past the close
Stand up to the judges
Draw a brief from an unfamiliar industry and run the whole process solo in three hours. Then give an 8-minute pitch and take rapid-fire questions from the judges, scored against a rubric published on the spot.

The outside consultant has two and a half hours to work out whose need is real. Every role has its own mission and clues, and nobody watches from the sidelines.

What is an FDE?

How can a one-person company deliver?
DeltaEcho is an OPC, a one-person company. AI agents take on the legwork in parallel, I make every call that matters, and a domain expert joins when a project needs deep industry knowledge. Three rules keep it honest: three months max per project, a prototype in week one, and only promises that can be measured.
Where should a company start with AI?
Start with an assessment. We look at your operation on site and tell you where AI is worth it, what it will cost and how soon it pays back. Email hi@deltaecho.ai with your company, your industry and the problem you want to solve.
Do I need to code to join the camp?
No. Three or more years of work, real industry experience and some time with an AI chat tool are enough. This cohort does not take complete beginners or pure software engineers.
Where and when is the camp?
Cohort one opens in early November for three days, in person in Shanghai. Exact dates and venue are sent after you sign up. The sign-up pages and camp materials are in Chinese; email us with any questions.
Can I get a refund?
Cancel more than 3 days before the camp starts for a full refund. Within 3 days of the start, we refund half of what you paid or move you to the next cohort for free. No refunds once the camp begins. If we cancel or postpone, you get a full refund.
Do you guarantee a job or clients afterward?
No. What we offer is skills, a portfolio and a path in: graduates join our talent pool and get priority when real demand comes up, but we don't guarantee it or put a timeline on it.
